What is 80/20 ground beef? 80/20 means 80% lean to 20% fat, the classic ratio for juicy burgers, meatballs, and tacos. Enough fat for rich flavor without being greasy.

How much is in the box? 18 pounds, packed as eighteen 1-lb chubs, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen.

Is it really from one animal? Yes. Every box comes from a single animal we raised, never blended from dozens of sources like store beef.

How is it raised? Pasture-raised on our family ranch in Independence, Kansas, then grain-finished on our own corn and oats. No antibiotics, no added hormones.

How long does it keep? Flash-frozen at peak freshness, it keeps up to a year in the freezer.

We proudly offer our locally raised beef by the box, quarter, or half share. Our calves are born in Southeast Kansas during the spring and fall, and raised on native grasses and mother's milk until they're ready for the next stage. Upon weaning, they return to our ranch, where they graze on a diet of Bermuda and fescue grass. Here, amidst the comforting familiarity of our homestead, they're nourished with care and attention, grazing and growing until they're finished on a balanced diet of hay, oats, and corn.
